Power gains with 300V.

As part of our work with Motul, we wanted to prove some of the selling points of the high-quality engine oil. To do this we had gather data on Motul 300V and the performance gains it can provide.

We spoke to one of the performance garages linked to Motul with a specialised climate-controlled hub dyno for accurate results. The first run, using a highly tuned Audi RS6, was conducted using a premium oil. After the test the car was left to cool down, the oil was drained and Motul 300V was poured in. Then a second run was conducted under the same conditions to test for performance gains using 300V.

The results showed a wheel horsepower gain of 3.4 BHP and a significant increase of 16.76 Nm of torque. The final brake horsepower figure was 1031.95 BHP, which provided Rushworth with data to convince their customers to change from their current oil to Motul 300V.

To make sure the data and performance gain was evidenced, a videographer and photographer captured footage to be used as promotional material but also for the Motul UK Technical Manager to use and share with other Motul regions.

From shot list to dyno, we managed the process to capture and plan the entire content package. The stills we have received have been used as part of advertising boards, email marketing, social media content and have been shared globally as part of the Motul Group.

For maximum coverage and usage of the footage, we have scheduled the content into the social media calendar as collaborative posts with key performance partners.
