Motul at Gravity: From Stand Design to Event Delivery.
From concept to close-down, we helped shape Motul’s presence at Gravity into a connected brand experience designed to create impact on the show floor.
August 2026
Gravity at the NEC gave Motul the opportunity to put its brand in front of one of the UK’s most engaged performance and modified car audiences.
For us, the focus was on creating more than a stand. We wanted to build a full Motul experience that would attract attention, start conversations and give visitors a clear reason to engage with the brand throughout the weekend.
The project began with the stand itself. We wanted to create a presence that felt bold, practical and unmistakably Motul. From the truss structure and lightboxes to bespoke tables, illuminated shelving and product display areas, each part of the stand was designed to create impact on the show floor while giving the team a strong space to speak to customers, showcase product and bring the brand to life.
Alongside the physical stand design, we created the supporting artwork used across the space, making sure the visual identity felt consistent, professional and built for a live event environment. We also produced the video content that played on the stand throughout the weekend, giving Motul a constant brand presence even during the busiest periods of the show.
A key part of the activation was performance. With a special shoutout to Rushworth Performance, their car and dyno setup became a major feature of the stand, helping demonstrate the real performance gains associated with Motul products. It gave visitors something tangible to see, ask about and connect with, moving the conversation beyond product claims and into real-world performance.
The weekend also included interactive giveaway activity, giving attendees the chance to win Motul merchandise and creating an easy way for the team to start conversations. Free caps, keyrings and other giveaways helped extend the brand beyond the stand, while large inflatable Motul arches positioned around the venue gave Motul strong visibility across the wider event space.
Education was also an important part of the weekend. Technical product talks gave visitors the chance to understand more about Motul’s range, while live demonstrations using flasks helped show how products are made in a more visual and accessible way. This helped turn technical information into something people could see for themselves, making the brand feel more open, knowledgeable and engaging.
Our role also covered the planning that sits behind a smooth event. From schedules and staffing to logistics, packing, van loading, setup and close-down, we helped make sure the right materials, products and equipment were in the right place at the right time. For a show of this size, the details matter, and making sure everything was prepared properly helped the weekend run as efficiently as possible.
Throughout the event, we supported Motul’s digital presence with live content across stories and posts, using social media to encourage visitors to come and find the stand. The weekend generated strong online momentum, with Instagram activity reaching around 11,000 and approximately 500 new followers gained across the event period.
Gravity was a strong example of how brand awareness is built through more than one touchpoint. The stand, the content, the product demonstrations, the performance story, the giveaways, the venue branding and the conversations all worked together to create a joined-up Motul presence at the NEC.
From concept to close-down, our focus was on helping Motul show up with impact, consistency and confidence.
A full brand experience, built beyond the stand.
